We drove over the bay to Fairhope.
Here is where the rich folks live!
And, apparently, those folks don’t shop on Sunday, as most of the shops were closed. Fairhope downtown is kind of a cross between
Stillwater and Grand Avenue. Art shops,
clothing shops. And a kick butt
restaurant!
We had the best meal that we have had so far…and we have had
some good ones. The crab cakes that Kathy ordered were more
crab than cake. Tim's crab and asparagus omelet was great…not too rich, just
really good.
We walked around the downtown area, stopped in the shops that were open, and then walked down to the beach.
It was a warm calm Sunday. It was pleasant to just sit on a park bench and watch the water.
